Policy to cut-in when the ethernet is connected, not just if an adapter is present. Maybe the policy key has no effect if this is a HOME version? I am aware that the default behaviour has changed recently, but my 10 PRO device can connect to both at once and I would in any case have expected the No group policy editing as it's "HOME", but have set theįMinimizeConnections key to 0 in the registry. Disconnect the external adapter, and immediately wifi can connect. traffic not actually getting to the router. The wifi router logs show no connection activlty from the PC when it's trying, i.e. The wifi sees available networks and tries to connect, but "unable". With the new Win 11 home, as soon as I connect the external adapter, wifi disconnects EVEN if the external adapter is not connected to the router. On the Old Win10 pro device (fully updated till very recently), I could have wifi connected simultaneously to one subnet/router and an external ethernet adapter (USB) connected to another. ![]() Old PC, Surface pro 4 with windows 10 PRO ![]()
